The Cygnet Ring is a unique shape ring inspired by the Queen's bird, the swan. The ring is made from 925 Sterling Silver and is hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office verifying its quality. This ring has also been marked with the limited edition Jubilee Mark, which is only available for this year, 2022.
The ring is inspired by the Claddagh ring, a traditional Irish ring, which represents love, loyalty & friendship. The main focus of the ring is the heart shaped gem which is a deep red Cubic Zirconia stone. The crown sitting above upon the heart is a nod to the Imperial State Crown. Either side of the heart stone are 2 swans, the Queen's Bird.
Since the 12th century, the Queen has had the right to claim ownership to all unmarked swans, swimming in open waters, in the United Kingdom. For this reason, the swan is known as The Queen's Bird and is protected in the United Kingdom. To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, we designed a ring in honour of her swans & cygnets (young swans).
The face of the ring is approx 10mm high and has a slim, smooth band for a comfortable fit. The ring is very detailed so we recommend pairing it with something simpler such as the Silver Traditional Hallmark Ring.
