Horseshoe Necklace

The Silver Horseshoe Necklace is a pendant necklace with an horseshoe pendant holding a sovereign coin and a fine chain. The necklace is made from 925 Sterling Silver, and is hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office verifying its quality.

Horseshoe's symbolise good luck, prosperity and offer protection. The pendant is cast to an open horseshoe 'U' shape, bordered with rope style detailing. Inside the horseshoe is a replica sovereign coin. On one side is the classic depiction of King George VI and on the reverse is the depiction of Saint George slaying a dragon. Saint George is the patron saint of England and is known throughout history as a hero. Saint George held within a lucky horseshoe is the ultimate talisman for good luck and safety. The necklace has an oxidised finish, giving an aged, vintage look and highlighting the detail.

The pendant hangs from a slim 1.5mm curb chain that can be adjusted from 48-54cm and fastens with a Sterling Silver lobster clasp. This statement necklace can be worn as a standalone piece or layered with other styles, such as the Silver Double Link Chain for a heavier look.
