The Surrealism art movement depicted unnerving, illogical scenes, creating a new world through radical ways of thinking. This style of artwork has heavily influenced our Surrealism Collection, with the use of everyday objects transformed into precious metal jewellery.
The Eye Ring is inspired by the René Magritte painting 'The False Mirror'. The eye was a subject that fascinated many Surrealist artists, given its position between the inner self and the external world. Transforming a familiar image like an eye, into an unfamiliar material like Sterling Silver, creates a sense of reassurance and comfort through the illogical.
The ring is made from 925 Sterling Silver, every product comes in a recyclable pouch. Silver products (excluding Rhodium plated styles) naturally age over time, so they also come with a cleaning cloth, which can be used to polish your product.
